Presented in the Telecom category following a rigorous evaluation process, the award recognises Ooredoo’s investment in its 5G network and the technologies behind it. The company’s focus is on turning those advances into practical benefits, from stronger everyday coverage to digital services shaping how people live and work.

In 2026, Ooredoo continued to strengthen its 5G capabilities. Its efforts include the deployment of advanced indoor connectivity at Salalah Hospital and the use of its 5G network to support live esports competitions across Muscat, Nizwa and Sohar. These developments reflect the company’s focus on applying network innovation in ways that deliver practical value across different sectors.
