Believing in the role of Omani youth in driving development and shaping the future of the Sultanate of Oman, Ooredoo celebrated Omani Youth Day by hosting scholarship students and their families at its headquarters, welcoming them into the Ooredoo family and sharing the joy of this special occasion. This initiative reflects the company’s commitment to empowering future generations and enhancing their opportunities to gain the knowledge and skills needed for the future.
The scholarships, presented in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, fund Omani students pursuing higher education in technology fields including cybersecurity, data science and AI. The initiative forms part of Ooredoo’s investment in youth development and education in Oman. It reflects a long-term focus on nurturing Omani talent and helping young people prepare for the country’s digital transformation.
