Ooredoo has partnered with Himam Education Academy through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to expand access to digital education and support students across Oman. Through its Back-to-School CSR initiative, Ooredoo will provide 2,500 complimentary subscriptions to students in Grades 5–12 at Himam Academy’s educational platform.
Under the initiative, 1,500 subscriptions will help learners with diverse needs and circumstances access additional academic support. By opening access to digital learning resources, the programme aims to help them during the new academic year.
The agreement was signed at Intercity Hotel, Al Khuwair, under the patronage of H.H. Sayyid Faher bin Fatik Al Said. Jaffar Al Khaburi, Senior Director of Strategy and Innovation, signed on behalf of Ooredoo Oman, alongside Sultan Said Al Shidi, CEO of Himam Education Academy.
Commenting on the signing, Jaffar Al Khaburi said:

Our partnership with Himam Education Academy enables us to make quality digital education accessible to a wider group of students. This initiative reflects our commitment to inclusive growth and meaningful collaboration as we help nurture the skilled and young generation Oman is counting on.”
The partnership pairs Ooredoo’s digital reach with Himam Education Academy’s track record in supporting learners. It also builds on Ooredoo’s environmental, social and governance agenda, which prioritises digital inclusion for underserved communities.
Registration via the Ooredoo app will be announced later in August 2026, enabling Ooredoo customers who wish to take advantage of this opportunity to enhance their children’s educational journey.
