Living by its value of ‘Caring’, Ooredoo ran a general health check-up and blood donation campaign, in partnership with Blood Bank Services and Burjeel Hospital. This drive formed part of a wider Global Blood Donation Campaign across the Ooredoo Group, promoting compassion and wellbeing across all of its markets.
Hosted at Ooredoo’s headquarters, the campaign encouraged employees to contribute to a life-saving cause while taking time to prioritise their own health. With general health screenings for both men and women, the initiative empowered participants with valuable insights into their individual health and the importance of preventive care.
The campaign reflects Ooredoo’s strong commitment to building a workplace where wellness is a shared responsibility. Each act of participation, whether through donating blood or attending a check-up, strengthened the sense of unity that defines Ooredoo’s culture.
At its heart, the drive carried a simple message: when people feel their best, they give their best. A healthy, motivated workforce drives stronger service, deeper engagement, and an elevated experience for Ooredoo’s customers across Oman.
As part of Ooredoo’s ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) practices, the campaign highlights the company’s focus on the ‘social’ pillar, promoting employee wellbeing and community support as part of its sustainability goals.
Ooredoo’s ongoing investment in employee health reinforces its position as an employer of choice and reflects its broader sustainability and community vision. The initiative also highlighted the shared purpose that connects Ooredoo companies globally, inspiring a culture of care that makes Ooredoo not just a telecom leader, but a people-first brand.
