Ooredoo is the telecom and digital partner for a first-of-its-kind influencer marketing competition set to energise the local food and beverage scene during Khareef Dhofar. The initiative brings together ten micro-influencers and ten Omani cafés and restaurants, each paired to co-create bold promotional campaigns for seasonal autumn dishes and drinks.
Launched in collaboration with Salalah Trend and Khotah Marketing, the campaign serves as a platform for youth-led innovation and cultural storytelling. Over five dynamic weeks, participating teams will craft high-impact content and on-the-ground activations that break away from conventional marketing, boosting footfall, driving digital engagement, and elevating Omani flavours with a creative twist.
The competition reflects Ooredoo’s broader commitment to empowering young talent, supporting SMEs, and advancing Oman’s digital and economic growth. Through its role in the campaign, Ooredoo is enabling seamless collaboration, amplifying content across platforms, and ensuring each creative effort achieves maximum reach and resonance.
And all campaign content will give participating businesses access to a reusable bank of high-quality digital marketing assets beyond the campaign’s lifecycle.
