Ooredoo reaffirmed its commitment to inclusion, entrepreneurship and empowerment by holding its eighth Women’s Forum. Held at the Grand Millennium Muscat Hotel on 6 November in celebration of Omani Women’s Day, the event provided a dynamic platform for learning, networking, and showcasing innovative women-led projects.
Organised in collaboration with leading charity partners, the forum brought together women’s incubators from across 23 wilayats, business leaders, and representatives from the public and private sectors.
Khawla Al Amri, Acting Chief Corporate Service Officer at Ooredoo, gave the keynote address, reaffirming Ooredoo’s commitment to women’s empowerment and inclusion. She emphasised the company’s ongoing efforts to support women through initiatives that inspire leadership and create opportunities for entrepreneurship and innovation.
A highlight of the event was a series of interactive workshops focusing on AI business development, financial literacy and investment readiness, designed to help participants transform their ideas into sustainable ventures. The sessions were complemented by recreational and networking activities that fostered collaboration and community engagement.
In recognition of outstanding achievements, several women’s associations were honoured for their contributions. The event also featured a product exhibition, where incubator participants showcased handmade crafts, homegrown products, and creative designs that reflect Omani talent, heritage and culture.
Since its inception in 2015, Ooredoo’s incubator programme has played a vital role in supporting women entrepreneurs across Oman, providing training, mentorship, and resources through 23 active incubators. This ongoing initiative reaffirms Ooredoo’s leadership in driving social impact and supporting national development through empowerment and inclusion.
