They may claim that you have won a prize, that there is a problem with your account, or that urgent action is required. Their goal is often to trick you into sharing personal information, OTPs, PINs, passwords, bank details or other sensitive information.

If you receive a suspicious call, SMS or other communication claiming to be from Ooredoo, do not provide any information, click any links or follow the caller's instructions. Report the suspicious activity to Ooredoo Customer Care at 1500 for verification and assistance. If you believe you have already been a victim of a scam involving financial loss, stolen banking information or other criminal activity, you should also report the incident promptly to the relevant authorities and your bank or financial institution, where applicable.
