How to pay

Payments and recharges allow you to continue using our services and stay connected to friends, family keep up to date. Ooredoo now gives you the option of making payments or recharging through a number of channels – anything from our Facebook page to using our in-store self-service machines. The full list of ways for you to pay or recharge are below.

Self-Service machine (SSM)

Self-service machines allow instant bill payment and credit recharge

You can use cash or a debit or credit card

Machines are available at many locations in Oman and most operate 24/7. To find your nearest location, please click the following link:

Important information:

  • The machines accept cash, debit cards and credit cards
  • No change is given
  • The machine takes one note at a time
  • You can recharge by up to RO 10 credit per mobile number in a 24-hour period
  • You can make a bill payment of up to RO 150 each week
Recharge Cards
  • You can use a recharge card for prepaid credit or to make a postpaid bill payment.
  • You can recharge by dialing: *115*(recharge code)#
  • You can make a bill payment by dialing the following numbers:
    • Arabic: dial *141*1*2*2*(recharge code)#
    • English: dial *141*2*2*2*(recharge code)#

Bill payment (Post 2 Post)

Ooredoo Shahry customers can make instant bill payments using their handset/phone/device through E-recharge. The account of any other Ooredoo Ajel customer will receive the payment through Ooredoo Zone.

My Account

With My Account self-care services, you can recharge or pay your bills online with complete confidence and security. You can use any credit card issued in Oman as well as any debit card issued by Bank Muscat or Bank Dhofar.

Facebook Payment and Recharge

While you are enjoying the most popular social network ‘Facebook’, you can instantly recharge or make a bill payment for your account, or for your friends and relatives. Simply use your local credit card or a debit card from Bank Muscat or Bank Dhofar and follow the steps below:

NBO Bank

National Bank of Oman offers bill payment and recharge for NBO/Ooredoo customers through:

  • SMS
  • Internet – www.nbo.co.om
  • ATM – Automatic Teller Machine

 

SMS

To use SMS for bill payment and recharge

  • Call the NBO call centre on 80077077 and activate the SMS banking service.
  • You will be required to use the short code 90303
  • To make a recharge or bill payment:
    • a. For the default number which is registered:
      Send TN (space) (amount) to 90303
      Example: to make a payment of OMR 10/= TN 10
    • b. For other Ooredoo numbers:
      Send TN (space) (amount) (space) (B MSISDN) to 90303
      Example: to make a payment of OMR 10/= to 95xxxxxx TN 10 95xxxxxx

Through Internet Banking

  • Register through NBO to obtain a username and password for internet banking
  • Log onto the NBO website www.nbo.co.om
  • Select ‘Telecoms Payments’ from the options
  • Select ‘Ooredoo’
  • Complete the rest of the steps to recharge credit or make a bill payment

 

Through ATMs

  • Ooredoo Customer who is NBO account hulders can make a bill payment and Recharge via Mobile Banking Service by NBO.
  • Customers have to make the registration 1st.
  • Customer will have options to make a payment of OMR (1,2,4,8) and this is a current limitation from the application side which is under Enhancement.

Oman Arab bank

Oman Arab Bank customers can make instant bill payments and recharge credit using the following:

  • SMS
  • Bank Teller
  • Internet
  • Cash deposit machine

SMS

 

  1. Call the OAB call centre 2475 4444 and activate the SMS service
  2. You will be required to use the short code 90302
  3. To make a recharge or bill payment:
    • a. For the default number registered with the bank
      Bill payment: send PAYN (space) (amount)
      Example: to make a bill payment of OMR 10/= PAYN 10
      Recharge: send TOPN (space) (amount)
      Example: to make a recharge of OMR5/= TOPN 5
    • b. For other Ooredoo numbers:
      Bill payment: send PAYN (Space) (amount) (space) (B MSISDN)
      Example: to make a bill payment of OMR 10/= to 95xxxxxx PAYN 10 95xxxxxx
      Recharge: send Key TOPN (space) (amount) (space) (B MSISDN)
      Example: to make a recharge of OMR5/= to 95xxxxxx TOPN 5 95xxxxxx

Teller

Oman Arab bank offers its customers with a Nawra account, the convenience of making a bill payment or recharging through their outlets and branches. To settle postpaid bills, you don’t need to present the original bill; you can visit any branch and make the payment.

Internet

You can pay your bills or recharge your prepaid number online using the OAB website

  1. Register at the OAB website to obtain a username and password
  2. Log in using your user name and password
  3. Choose ‘Ooredoo’ under utility payment

Cash deposit machines

OAB customers with a Ooredoo account can use cash deposit machines to instantly recharge or make a bill payment. Machines are located throughout Oman.

Bank Muscat

Mutual customers of Ooredoo and Bank Muscat can make a bill payment and recharge using:

  • Mobile banking
  • Website
  • ATMs
  • Teller

 

mBanking

  • mBanking is a free application from the apple or android store
  • You need to register through mBanking to pay a bill
  • There are no fees for any payment via mBanking
  • You can recharge or make a bill payment for a mobile or Home Broadband line
  • Minimum payment amount is RO 1O/-
  • Maximum payment amount is RO 999/-

 

Bank Muscat website

With a Bank Muscat account, Ooredoo customers can make an instant bill payment or recharge using the website www.bankmuscat.com

  1. Register on the BM website to obtain a username and password
  2. Log in using your user name and password
  3. Add your beneficiary account

Cash Deposit Machines

Bank Muscat enables customers to use any cash deposit machine, which are located throughout Oman, to make an instant recharge or bill payment.
