Access, Correction and Deletion

We strive hard to keep our records updated and accurate with your latest information. You shall be responsible to ensure that the information or data you provide from time to time is and shall be correct, current and updated and you have all the rights, permissions and consent to provide such information or data. Based on technical feasibility, we will provide you with the access to all your personal and sensitive personal information that we maintain about you. We will perform verification before providing you access to this information. You may request access, correction or updation, and deletion of the information by contacting our team. You may note that deletion of certain information or withdrawal of consent may lead to cancellation of your registration with us or your access to our services. Additionally, we may not be able to process your request of correction, updation or deletion, in case the same is not supported by valid documents or data retention if required by the applicable law or law enforcement requests or under any judicial proceedings or it is extremely difficult to implement (such as requests related to backup copies or if a new system is required to process the request or change of technical design) or risks the privacy of other users.

Steps to close your account

At Pay+, our intention is to serve you with the best. Having said that, it is disheartening to see you go. However, we are here to help you out with any of the concerns faced by you. If you want to close your account, be sure you do not have any balance in your Pay+ wallet.

In case, if you have balance:
  • 1. Please Utilize the available balance by transacting on any Pay+ service
  • 2. Transfer the balance to any other registered Pay+ phone number

Before you close your account, here are some things you should know:
  • 1. Closing your account unlinks your phone number and the associated login ID and password are no longer valid. Effectively, you cannot login to Pay+ anymore with these tokens
  • 2. Your transaction logs to be stored for a period of up to 10 years post the deletion of an account. This data is stored on servers located in NBO and data would never be shared with any third-party.

Follow the below-mentioned steps to raise account closure request:
  • Step 1: Login to Pay+ Application.
  • Step 2: On the home screen, click on “☰” at the top left corner.
  • Step 3: Go to ‘Edit Profile Settings’
  • Step 4: Select ‘Unregister Account’
  • Step 5: Select ‘Reason from the Drop down’ click “OK”
  • Step 6: You have Un-Registered your Account, you won’t be able to use our services anymore.
