STEP 2: Run an internet speed test three times consecutively using Okla speed test Speedtest by Ookla - The Global Broadband Speed Test

STEP 3: Record the results for each test, including download speed, upload speed, and ping.

5G / DISCONNECTION

STEP 1: place your modem in a cool, shaded area — away from direct sunlight.

STEP 2: Restart your modem(Press the modem’s power button to turn it off, wait one minute, then press it again to turn it back on) & Check Physical Connections.

STEP 3: Verify signal strengths & placement.

STEP 4: If you are using a LAN cable, disconnect all cables and try connecting without them.

STEP 5: Changing location within the same building.

STEP 6: If the you are facing the disconnection issue in only specific time in the day please contact us through one of our supporting channels

STEP 1: Check bill/payment status Ooredoo Oman App - Ooredoo Oman

STEP 2: Power-cycle the modem (unplug its power cable, wait about 30-60 seconds, then plug it back in).

STEP 3: Optimise modem location & reduce interference to get better signal.

STEP 4: Perform factory reset.

Password change/ 5G

STEP 1: Connect to the Router Use an Ethernet cable to connect your PC to the router, or connect via Wi-Fi using your mobile phone.

STEP 2: Access the Router Settings Open a web browser and type 192.168.0.1 in the address bar.

STEP 3: - Log In Enter the default credentials:

• Username: admin

• Password: admin

STEP 4: Go to Wi-Fi Settings Navigate to WiFi-2.4G Settings under the Wi-Fi Setting section.

STEP 5: Locate SSID and Password

• SSID: This is your Wi-Fi network name. You can change it to anything you like.

• Wi-Fi Password: This is your current wireless password. Replace it with a new password of your choice.

STEP 6: Save Changes After updating the password, make sure to save the settings.
