Missed Call Notice

Ooredoo Missed Call Notice is a great way to keep track of who has tried to call you when you were not reachable, due to either having switched off your mobile handset or the fact that you were travelling in an area without network coverage. This service is free of charge and available to both Shahry postpaid and Mousbak prepaid customers.

With Ooredoo Missed Call Notice service you will not miss any more important phone calls, as you will be sent an SMS message detailing the calls you could not answer while being unreachable. The SMS message you receive will look like this:

You missed my call at 16:53 on 29NOV12.

This SMS message will be sent to you from the caller’s number, allowing your phone to display his/her name if previously stored in your phone book

In the event that one person calls you more than once, you will still receive one SMS message that will look like this:

You missed my call 2 times. Last call at 09:27 on 18DEC08

To activate the Missed Call Notice service, all you have to do is ensure that you deactivate any “call divert” for the condition “unreachable”. This can be done in one of three ways:

  1. 1- Use the menu on your mobile handset to navigate to the “call divert” menu and choose to deactivate or cancel it for “unreachable”.
    If you are using a Nokia mobile handset, go to Menu > Settings > Call Settings > Call Divert > Divert if out of reach > Cancel
    If you are using a Sony Ericsson mobile handset, go to Menu > Calls > Divert Calls > Voice Calls > Not Reachable > Cancel
  2. 2- You can also cancel the “call divert” function by entering the following code on your mobile handset: ##62# followed by the call or send button
  3. 3- The MCN service will also activate if you cancel all call diverts, either by using your phone menu, or by simply entering ##002# followed by the call or send button.
