Mowjood

Mawjood is yet another creative service from Ooredoo - one that notifies your callers that you are now contactable, having turned your phone back on again.

All Ooredoo customers who tried to call you when you were not reachable, because you had switched off your mobile handset or were travelling in an area without network coverage, will automatically receive a Ooredoo Mawjood notification once your phone is back on. This service is optional and free of charge.

Mawjood is available to both Ooredoo Shahry postpaid and Mousbak prepaid customers.

The Ooredoo Mawjood service is very simple and easy to set up.

Activating the Mawjood service is very simple, and can be done in one of two ways:

    1. Simply enter *62*1509# followed by the call or send button.
    Or
    2. Use the menu on your mobile handset to navigate to the “call divert” menu and change the number for “unreachable” to 1509.
    If you are using a Nokia mobile handset, go to Menu > Settings > Call Settings > Call Divert > Divert if out of reach > 1509
    If you are using a Sony Ericsson mobile handset, go to Menu > Calls > Divert Calls > Voice Calls > Not Reachable > 1509

Once set up you will start to receive the Ooredoo Mawjood service, notifications will appear as a SMS detailing the calls you could not answer while being unreachable.

Those who tried to call you when you were unreachable will receive a notification saying “I am now reachable. You can call me.” This SMS message will be sent from your number, allowing your callers’ phones to display your name if previously stored in their phone books. In the event that anyone calls you more than once, he will still receive one SMS

To deactivate the service you can use one of the following ways:

    1. You can cancel the “call divert” function by entering the following code on your mobile handset: ##62# followed by the call or send button
    Or
    2. Cancel all call diverts, either by using your phone menu, or by simply entering ##002# followed by the call or send button.
    Missed Call Noticed (MCN) will automatically activate once Mawjood service or all diverts are cancelled
